"Soundtrack contributions"

Throughout their music career, spanning almost 25 years, U2 songs have been included in a variety of popular movies.  With their unique and diverse musical style, U2's song catalog has been a source for many movie producers and soundtrack compilators.  Three soundtrack conributions stand out: "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" for the movie "Batman Forever"; "Elevation" for the movie "Tomb Raider" and "The Hands That Built America" for the movie "Gangs of New York", the latter one was nominated for an Oscar.
